Residential Condominium Projects
We represent developers in the purchase, construction and conversion of property to residential, commercial, mixed-use and phased condominiums through each phase of the project from acquisition of the project site to the sale of condominium units. We prepare condominium documents, project purchase and sale agreements, presentation binders for buyers, as well as coordinate and manage closings. We promote a team approach with strong communication between the developer, the sales office and our legal team in order to streamline the process from purchase and sale agreements through closings. We advise our clients on risk management, condominium management, and the transition of control from developer to unit owners.
- Represented the developer in the development of a 112-unit phased townhouse condominium project consisting of 16 phases in Norwood, Massachusetts. This project included the preparation of condominium documents, phasing amendments and sale documents, as well as the managing of unit sales.
- Represented the developer in the development of an 80-unit mixed-use condominium project consisting of market rate residential units, affordable residential units and commercial retail units in the historic Filene’s Building in Worcester, Massachusetts. This project included the preparation of condominium documents and sale documents, and the managing of unit sales.
- Represented the developer in the development of a 22-unit LEED certified townhouse condominium project in the South Boston neighborhood of Boston. This project included the preparation of condominium documents, phasing amendments, and sale documents, and managing unit sales.
