Leasing

Overview

A lease is a long-term relationship. We structure it that way from the start.

We represent landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions across office, retail, restaurant, and specialty uses. Our landlord clients include experienced owners and developers leasing to regional and national tenants. Our tenant clients include operators in restaurant, retail, fitness, and technology.

We draft and negotiate leases and all related documents, including guarantees, extension options, purchase options, exclusive use covenants, and work letters for tenant improvements. We also counsel on ongoing lease administration and negotiate lease assignments and subleases. Our leasing work often begins at the acquisition or development stage, ensuring that lease structures support the long-term business plan for the property. Every lease we negotiate reflects the client’s business objectives while protecting the long-term relationship between landlord and tenant.
