Construction Contracts

Overview

Good construction documents protect the project before the first shovel hits the ground.

We represent owners, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in the design and construction of residential and commercial real estate developments. Our work includes drafting and negotiating construction contracts, design agreements, and related project documents.

We advise on risk allocation, insurance, and indemnity matters. We also counsel on contract administration throughout the project, including change orders, payment applications, substantial completion, and close-out. We review and negotiate AIA and custom contract forms and advise on lien rights, retainage, and bonding requirements.
